Mark Jenkins – Now Contemporary Art, Miami
Born 1970 in Virginia USA
Mark Jenkins is an American artist most widely known for the human figuere installations he creates using packing tape and other materials. His work humorously addresses themes of social isolation but with the idea to bring humanity together rather than pull it further apart. On the street passersby are absorbed into his scenes unknowingly as actors on this stage. He has shown his work in major cities including LA, NYC, Tokyo, Moscow, and London. He currently lives in Washington, DC.
