This January, American Minor, a short film by artist Charlie White premiering at Loock Galerie November 2008 will be included in the Sundance Film Festival. At VOLTA NY in New York (March 4 to 8) Loock Galerie will be presenting works from Charlie White’s Girl Studies series, at the same time, the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles will open the exhibition "Nine Live: Visionary Artists from LA", curated by Ali Subotnick, which will include the film American Minor and the Teen and Transgender Comparative Studies from Charlie White’s Girl Studies series.
