Boru O'Brien O'Connell

Boru O'Brien O'Connell is a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and is currently based in upstate New York. He recently moved from Paris, where he spent the last year as an artist-in-residence and grant recipient with CitéCulture. He has also received a Traveling Scholars Fellowship from the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He has an upcoming exhibition in the spring of 2008 with Lamontagne Gallery. At Volta, O'Connell presents work from "Mavericks & Daydreamers", a series that portrays the convergence of various clichéd histories of men.
