General InformationChristian Viveros-Fauné is a writer, curator, ex-art dealer and the Managing Director and Curatorial Consultant for VOLTANY. He has published in, among other venues, Art in America, Artnews, Artnexus, The Art Newspaper, The New York Press and The New Yorker and has contributed essays for various catalogs of contemporary art, among them “Authentic/Ex-centric: Conceptualism in Contemporary African Art, Biennale di Venezia 49”; “Symptomatic: Recent Works by Perry Hoberman”, National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, Bradford, UK; “Armando Morales,” Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey and “Lisa Yuskavage”, Museo Tamayo de Arte Contemporáneo, Mexico City. He currently writes about art for The Village Voice and is a cultural columnist for the Chilean newspaper La Tercera. He is also presently curating a retrospective of the Mexican painter Yishai Jusidman at Mexico’s Museo de Arte Moderno.
